At the threshold
by the burgeoning
honeysuckle
vine
A vibrant
ruby throated
humming bird
flitttttttted up-
to hover
forever
it seemed
eye to eye
.... so close...
to me....
Did he think me bloom?
or did he simply want to convey
welcome home.
