The Conodoquinet Creek

The Conodoquinet Creek
"winding stream"
"for a long way nothing but bends"

cradles the land
where we live

defines the edge
of our neighboorhood
on all three sides

brings birds up
from the Susquehanna
where egrets nest

Osprey and eagles
come too

gracing the creek
feathering the view
